I’m Jen, a working mom to two energetic boys (ages 10 and 13), happily married to my biggest supporter (and travel partner-in-crime!), and, yes, an assistant principal at a bustling public school.

Let’s be honest, the idea of turning 40 gave me a serious case of wanderlust. It wasn’t a midlife crisis (okay, maybe a mini one!), but a powerful realization that life is short, the world is huge, and there’s so much more to see and experience than the daily grind.
