We have been visiting Bethany Beach with our family ever summer since our children were in diapers. This Delaware coastal town offers a wide variety of activities from the youngest travelers to the more seasoned vacationer, Bethany Beach has a lot to offer. Bethany, South Bethany and Fenwick Island are considered Delaware’s “Quiet Resorts.” The area is bordered to the east with many free public beaches, that are guarded during the summer months and a few quieter private beaches. Bethany offers a bustling pier with shops, an expansive playground and many restaurants to enjoy. This town can accommodate travelers who enjoy waterfront condos with many amenities and renters who appreciate a secluded home hidden in the trees and a short stroll to the beach.
